Message 3 of Why can’t we just download the printer drivers?
Note on archived topics. I do not have the disk, no EXE, cannot download from vendor site.
And ofcourse after the hours spent, with HP trolling you, you would think you are done. I’m having the same problem I can’t imagine why HP makes things so difficult. Then you can find the driver inf inside the extracted folder.
Printer INF Files
I looked into the driver folders for the printer but there are NO ieuiint.inf file either for me to extract, but just files of dlls, mui etc. I cannot find the INF file.
Do you happen to know where the driver files are installed? Nothing more nothing less.
windows – How to find the INF file in an installed printer driver – Super User
Microsoft will pick up the tradition with some Install x86 Medea ntprint. So I wouldn’t use the solution even if a team of HP service people came to my house and installed it. It may direct you to the Temp folder. Ended up buying a USB extension cable to just plug her PC into the printer when she really needed it.
I think it’s possible to get it working, you just have to create the printer yourself. Didn’t find what you were looking for?
Your plan of ripping the driver from your current machine and installing it into windows XP is flawed, and will likely just waste time you could spend finding the proper driver. Well I wasn’t too happy either at first.
