GREAT tks a lot my friends I assume that there is no aspi required under Windows 10? Make sure your scanner is plugged into the SCSI card before you turn your system on you are probably already doing this as SCSI devices are not detected if turned on after the system has booted.

There’s a lot of discussion here to this dilemma concerning Windows 7 and a driver for the Adaptec and I wanted to throw my two cents in just in case someone else finds this in a search for this problem. Then select “I have a disk” and direct it to drive D: This is what is showing in Device Manager. I am backing up with tape and not accidently wiping out my files again!!!.
OMG winfows I also tried this – after evenutally find the drivers online as stated above – this worked me as well and the SCSI controller installed without any issue and I can now see my scsi drives thank you so much for the pointer.
